MSACS ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

The MSACS program invites and welcomes international applicants to our premium program for experienced professionals.

ACADEMICS
  1. Any degrees earned outside of the United States must have a course by course evaluation including undergraduate GPA, based on a 4.0 scale, through one of the following agencies:

  3. Submit official transcripts. Minimum undergraduate GPA is 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. (Cumulative Grade Point Average(GPA) should be included on the credential evaluation)
  4. Submit official TOFEL scores. Minimum score pen and paper 550, computer based minimum 213, Internet based 80% or above.
  5. Submit official GRE or GMAT scores. No minimum score required, this score is used for tracking and program evaluation purposes.
  6. Submit a resume describing your work experience in detail.

HEALTH

  1. Submit immunization records upon your entrance to KSU.
  2. All international students will be required to maintain health insurance. The insurance fee is charged above and beyond the normal tuition for the program. Pearce & Pearce

FINANCIAL

    The MSACS program provides a large number of expensive premiums to students that are included in the cost of the tuition: laptop computer, PDA, distance lectures, recorded lectures, microcontroller and embedded systems lab equipment and components, certification or conference trip, books, parking decal, other fees.
  1. A limited number of assistantships are available to students AFTER students have been admitted to the program. The assistantship pays a $2000 stipend per semester and does NOT waive the premium tuition. You may apply online AFTER you have been accepted to the program.
  2. Submit any financial documentation (official bank statement) required for your VISA requirements. (Guaranteed $18,000 in US Currency is the minimum).
  3. You are required to post a $250 advance partial tuition payment within 30 days of admission to the program, in order to hold your seat in the program for you. This reduces the remainder of your tuition bill for your first semester to $4750, PLUS the health insurance fee of $270 if required.
